1. Tell us about this trip
Add the destination, dates, travelers, pets, journey, and activities you already know. Type it into the short form or optionally describe it out loud.
Voice creates an editable draft; it never silently commits dates, people, or destinations.
2. Check the proposed list
Everyone’s Packed combines everyday essentials with the activities, journey, and travelers you selected. A beach trip with a baby and a dog gets beach, baby, and dog items.
Remove anything that does not fit, add your family’s specifics, or start blank.
3. Invite the family
Share a private, short-lived link or QR code. The other person sees which household they are joining before accepting.
People and devices remain separate: a child can have packing needs without owning a phone, and one adult can use both an iPhone and a browser.
4. Divide the work where it helps
Optionally mark who an item is for and who is responsible. Pack, Buy, and Do tasks remain in the same list while section progress shows where attention is still needed.
When someone checks an item, the change appears on every connected device.
5. Save the finished list
Save a good trip as a reusable template, or duplicate an existing template for a familiar routine. Print or share a static copy when that is easier for the person helping.
Questions people ask
Do I have to configure my household before the first trip?
No. You can create the trip first and add people during that flow. The app asks only for information that changes the current list.
Does voice setup send audio to the cloud?
On-device recognition is tried first where it is available. Android and web can offer an explicit cloud fallback; the user chooses before audio is sent.
Can I change the suggested list?
Completely. Review the suggestions, then edit or remove any of them before creating the trip.
